Sawley Lock O’Callaghan operates from an office at Prospect in the northern suburbs of Adelaide. We provide professional consulting services in the fields of surveying, property development, spatial Information for Infrastructure projects, and project management.

Our team provides services for projects across the state of South Australia, particularly in the areas of Adelaide and surrounds, Barossa Districts,  the Mid-North, Flinders and Riverland Regions

Both local and state government agencies, along with allied professionals such as engineers, architects, planners, and builders, are also a part of our valued clientele.

The origins of our firm can be traced back to 1962 when surveyors Frank Sawley and Bryant Lock formed the firm of Sawley Lock and Associates, and indeed to 1959 when Barry O’Callaghan formed B.T. O’Callaghan and Associates. In more recent years, that firm was the partnership of Barry and his son, Michael, until the merger with Sawley Lock in 2003. The firm gained a reputation in estate development over a lengthy period and was awarded the Urban Development Institute of Australia prize in residential design for the Spring Park Farm Estate in Littlehampton in 1995.

Sawley Lock O’Callaghan continues to professional services for land divisions (both Torrens and Community Title), boundary surveys, site surveys (detail and contour surveys), construction set-out surveys, Lease plans, easement plans, applications under the Roads (Opening and Closing) Act and numerous other surveying and spatial information services.
